Crown Maple at Madava Farms in Dover Plains is opening its doors to children (children at heart) and cookies on Saturday December 10, 2016.

Every child wants to leave cookies for Santa on Christmas Eve and kids will learn how to decorate their cookies at this special event. Anthony Cardoso from Cardoso Cookies will be showing the kids how to decorate their cookies with frosting. Each child will leave with 2 cookies, one for themselves and one Santa, along with a bag of frosting to help decorate those cookies.

There are two sessions of cookie decorating available., 9:30AM to 10:15AM and then 10:30AM to 11:15AM. There will be a tour of the sugar-house and maple syrup tasting after each session. The cost is $10 for each child. Reservations are suggested, as there are limited spaces available.
