We already knew Dave Grohl had a blast at last Monday’s (Feb. 15) Grammys. He led a second-line march with New Orleans’ Preservation Hall Jazz Band into the ceremony, where he was later spotted dancing and singing along during the Lionel Richie tribute (trusty red Solo cup in hand, naturally). Well, now, there’s video evidence that Grohl’s second line was, like everything he does, an entirely committed endeavor.

Grohl led the parade down the red carpet and into the Staples Center, which required squeezing Grohl’s drum and the Preservation Hall Jazz Band’s trombone and tuba players into an already tightly packed elevator. But did they stop playing? Of course not. See for yourself in the video at the top of the page.

The Foo Fighters leader will likely bring that same spirited effort to his recently announced “special performance” at this year's Oscars. The show airs on ABC at 8PM on Feb. 28.
