Dutchess Stadium Gets National Attention Thanks to Two New York Giants

Dutchess Stadium in Fishkill NY opened in June of 1994 and is home to minor league baseball team, Hudson Valley Renegades. This week it wasn't baseball that was putting Dutchess Stadium into the national spotlight, it was football. More specifically, two members of the New York Giants playing softball at Dutchess Stadium.

Brad Wing and his New York Giants teammate Odell Beckham Jr, were on hand Monday June 20, 2016 for a celebrity softball tournament. The monies raised from the tournament benefit the Ryan McElroy Children's Cancer Foundation.

Other places in Dutchess County that have recently garnered media attention, include the Walkway Over the Hudson, which has been voted into the National Rail-Trail Hall of Fame and Bowdin Park in Wappingers, which has once again been voted "Area's Top Park" by readers of Hudson Valley Magazine.
