De Niro Blows It

Robert Deniro is a great actor, you'd think he never blew an audition in his life! Footage has recently surfaced of his tryout for the first Godfather film, he's auditioning for the part of Sonny Corleone. While the casting directors decided to go in another direction (the part went to James Caan), they were impressed enough to give him a role in the 2nd Godfather film as a young Vito Corleone. De Niro, barely 30 years old at the time reportedly didn't match the intensity of the character in the novel. Let's watch De Niro blow the audition.
