Death From Above 1979, New Album & Tour

Death From Above 1979 is giving fans more than just a new single. They are also announcing their tour dates, including one in NYC.

DFA1979 unveiled the track "Trainwreck 1979" earlier this week, and now they're sharing more details about their long-awaited album "The Physical World" and its matching world tour.  The follow-up to the group's 2004 debut "You're a Woman, I'm a Machine" is due out September 9th, while the supporting trek starts the following month in Germany.  The North American portion of Death From Above 1979's tour starts November 1st with an appearance at New Orleans' Voodoo Music and Arts Experience.
Tickets for the tour go on sale this Friday, July 11th and include a download of the new album.
