Death of Wayne Static’s Widow Officially Ruled Suicide

The official cause of death has been released for Tera Wray Static, the widow of Static-X frontman Wayne Static.

The 33 year-old was found dead of an apparent suicide earlier this month in a friends home in California where she was living. Her death comes just 14 months after her husband passed away from a lethal overdose of prescription drugs and alcohol.

According to Blabbermouth, officials from the San Bernardino County coroner’s office stated, “Our coroner records indicate [Tera] died on January 13, 2016 in Joshua Tree, Calif. The manner of death was listed as suicide.”

Tera's former lawyer and associate spoke to Paige Six about the loss. Saying Wayne's death weighed heavily on her.

“She was one of the sweetest, most gentle women I have worked with in [the adult film industry],” Fattorosi said. “She had a light to her that was evident when she walked into the room. She was always smiling and happy. I know she loved Wayne dearly. When they met and got married, she left the [adult film] industry to go on tour with him and the band. From what I understand she was constantly by his side. His death must have weighed on her tremendously.”
