As an ex fighter I am so torn about this fight. Is anyone really excited about it?

Will this fight really be as historical as we are hyping it up to be? Actually, I have a different question. Is anyone even hyping the fight up at all?

The idea of a mixed martial artist entering a boxing match with not just any boxer but the greatest boxer on the planet, Floyd Mayweather for years. I guess now is the time where both sports are so damn lame that they could finally make it happen.

After all, according to The New York Post the fight could rake in an estimated one billion dollars (in Dr. Evil's voice).

Is it about the money or is it about the potential boost in popularity in both sports? Is this the revival boxing has needed for quite sometime?

The fight is scheduled to take place in August. Start saving now for the disposable $100 this fight will probably cost to watch. Hopefully, it will last for more than one round before Conor gets frustrated and throws a head kick.
