I am, indeed, a Whovian. I caught on quickly with David Tennet, and thought no one else could be a better Doctor. He was funny and mostly even-keeled, but would always hint at something sad behind his smile.

Then along came Matt Smith who had this really, almost manic, personality where he could go from insane mad cap adventures and laughing hysterically to threatening to destroy the universe or torturing his enemies.

Peter Capaldi, the current Doctor, seems a bit more tortured by his past. He's a man who looks like he's trying to come to grips with what he's done, and what he WILL do. He's had a few moments, but I felt like last season was a waste for me in terms of character development with him.

That being said, I'd watch the show if the Doctor was played by Roseanne Barr.

And that preview? HANDS coming out of the ground?!

The "new" master is still in the picture, and I don't know how she manages to do that, and it makes me crazy and I love it. I think this is going to be Cara's last season, so there should be a lot of crazy stuff every single week.

Here's hoping!
