A drunk driver has caused structural damage to a building in a local village after crashing into it. Thankfully no one was hurt!

Hudson Valley News Network reports that Sunday evening at approximately 6:45pm a woman was driving on West Market Street in the Village of Red Hook when she hit a parked car, this ultimately caused the driver to smashing into a building.

Red Hook Police tell HVNN that the building does have structural damage due to the impact from the vehicle. After an initial investigation Police determined the 46-year California resident was driving while intoxicated, having a a blood alcohol content of 0.18 percent.

The woman was charged and released for a later court date.
