The Pinkpop Festival took place in the Netherlands this weekend, and in addition to being one of the more diverse and massive European music festivals (this year alone saw performances from acts ranging from Pharrell to Faith No More to Magic! to Muse to Body Count), it also served as the world at large's introduction to John Coffey.

John Coffey is a Dutch post-hardcore band that's got a pretty decent following in Europe. Now they're known as a Dutch post-hardcore band with a pretty decent following in Europe and a badass lead singer who does stuff like this:

Although this wasn't the first time a band's lead singer showed the world how badass he could be at Pinkpop; here's Pearl Jam's iconic 1992 performance at the festival, one of the most legendary shows they've ever played.
