A Red Hook woman pleads guilty to grand larceny after her third arrest for fraud.

According to the Ulster County District Attorney's office 53 year-old Maureen Leggett was working as a bookkeeper for a local business in Ulster Park when she stole $155,594.00 between January 23, 2013 to April 6, 2015.

Officials say Leggett unlawfully used the businesses credit card, the owner’s personal credit card and unlawfully wrote checks then deposited the stolen monies into her husband’s bank account.

This is Leggett's third felony arrest for Grand Larceny and Falsifying Business Records. She was convicted in both 2006 and 2009 for similar schemes. With Leggett's current conviction she faces up to 3 ½ to 7 years in state prison.
