There have been numerous reports recently of David Bowie's refusal to work with high profile bands like Coldplay and Red Hot Chili Peppers. It appears The Killers don't have the same problem securing high profile collaborators.

In a recent interview with Shazam, Elton John spoke of heading to Las Vegas to work with the Killers on their new album. This will be the first new music from The Killers since 2012's Battle Born. Late last year, singer Brandon Flowers said he expects the album to be ready before the end of year.

While this will be the fifth studio album for the band, frontman Flowers has had two successful solo albums too.
