Erasure Announces Details For New Album, Fall Tour

Erasure has a new album on the way. Yes, Erasure. That band that you don't want anyone to know you used to listen to. Here is info on the album and the tour dates. The album is called "The Violet Flame" and will be available as a download, while the deluxe edition will be available on CD, packaged with a disc of bonus material.  "The Violet Flame" box set features both digital and CD versions of the album, along with a bonus disc of remixes, additional tracks and other extras which will be revealed over the next few months.  Details are available at PledgeMusic.com.  "The Violet Flame" is Erasure's follow up to their 2013 holiday disc, "Snow Globe."  The new album will be released in the U.S. on September 23rd, with the first single expected in July.

Erasure will hit the road in support of the disc.  The duo will launch "The Violet Flame Tour" in Miami on September 12th.  The North American run includes a Halloween show in Las Vegas before coming to a close in Oakland, California on November 1st.  Erasure will then go on a five-week European trek before returning to these shores to ring in 2015 with shows in New York City on December 30th and 31st.
