Eve 6 will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the release of their debut album with a big tour and that includes a stop at The Chance Theater in Poughkeepsie. In previous interviews with the band, they've stated that some of their biggest early shows were in the Hudson Valley so it's rather fitting they'll be returning to one of the venues where it all started.

The album was released in April of 1998 and featured the big hit 'Inside Out' along with memorable songs like 'Leech' and 'Open Road Song'. As of now, there are no plans to record new music but according to a Billboard article, lead singer Max Collins says it could happen down the road at some point. Their last full-length album was 2012's Speak In Code.

Recently Collins has been involved with a new project called Fitness with ex-AWOLNATION guitarist Kenny Carkeet.

Further proof that I'm a big geek, remember Vine? The short-lived video social media site? Yes, that one. I convinced Eve 6 to film one with me.
