20 years of collecting coats for the community
Dutchess Outreach Susan DeKeukelaere Annual Coat Drive
The winter chill will soon arrive, making a warm coat more important than ever, yet thousands of people right here in the Hudson Valley will be cold this winter unless you help. It’s up to you to donate those clean but gently used coats and jackets from the back of your closet. The Dutchess Outreach Susan DeKeikeleare Annual Coat Drive, sponsored by Guardian Self Storage, needs your help by donating winter coats (clean and in good condition). Any clean coats are welcome, however adult plus-sized and children’s coats are especially needed. The coats will be distributed to those in need to help them keep warm this winter. Last year, approximately 8,000 coats and jackets were collected. Every coat collected helps accommodate an ever growing need. It’s easy to make a real difference for someone in your community this winter. Coats can be dropped off at any Guardian Self Storage location throughout Dutchess, Orange, and Ulster counties. Coats will be collected from October 1st through October 31st. For more information call Dutchess Outreach at 845-454-3792.
