Mark Wunderlich Reading and Book Signing — Germantown

Mark Wunderlich, award winning poet and area resident, will be reading from his new book The Earth Avails Poems on Saturday, April 5th, at 4pm in the James D Livingston Library at Clermont State Historic Site, 87 Clermont Ave, Germantown, NY 12526. The event is co-sponsored by the Germantown Library and the Friends of Clermont. He will be signing copies of his book afterward.

The Earth Avails Poems is Wunderlich’s third published book of poetry. He has published individual poems, essays, reviews and interviews in the Paris Review, Yale Review, Boston Review, Chicago Review, Fence and AGNI. A member of the literature faculty at Bennington College in Vermont since 2004, he is also a member of the faculty of the Graduate Writing Seminars there, as well as teaching at Sarah Lawrence College this semester. He lives in the Hudson River Valley near the town of Catskill.

This event is the first collaboration between the Friends of Clermont and the Germantown Library. Both share a common goal of connecting the public with some of the treasures our region has to offer, and joining forces to highlight some of the great literary talent in the Hudson Valley was a perfect and natural fit.
