The Chance in Poughkeepsie presents “The OrCA Blues Band featuring Jamie Hamburg, Karl Allweier and The Real Men” on Saturday, May 30th at 8:15 pm for a benefit concert for the Oral Cancer Awareness Foundation (OrCA). Oral cancer is on the rise in the United States and kills one patient every hour of every day!
“Oral cancer has many faces… mine is but one of them,” said Dr. Larry Hamburg, dentist, stage IV cancer survivor, founder of OrCA and a member of the OrCA Blues band with his teenage sons, Jamie and Ryan.
“We want everyone to come for a great party at The Chance and enjoy this fantastic music show, and also get the message about oral cancer awareness and what they can do to help prevent getting the disease,” said Hamburg.
