The Friends of the Poughkeepsie Public Library District (PPLD) announces a "Sunset and Music Cruise", along the Hudson River, Thursday September 8, 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm, on board the 125 passenger yacht Marika, operated by Hudson Cruises, Inc.
This outing includes a hot and cold buffet, coffee and iced tea, and a cash bar is available. The cruise also features the music of local professionals Hurricane Annie and Eric Garrison, playing rhythm and blues, classic rock, soul and folk. Boarding is from the Shadows Marina,176 Rinaldi Boulevard, Poughkeepsie, at 4:30 pm, and returning at 7:30 pm, just before sunset. This trip is not handicapped accessible.
Tickets are $65 per person, no refunds. Mail a check, payable to "Friends of the PPLD", to Friends Bookstore, 141 Boardman Road, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603, or bring a check or cash to the Friends Bookstore (same address), Tuesday, Thursday, or Saturday, 10 am to 4 pm.
