'Throwing Copper' from the band Live is the first CD I bought with my own money, hard to believe that was 20 years ago. Ed Kowalczyk is no longer in the band, but he's taking the show on the road by himself to commemorate the anniversary.

The 'Throwing Copper Unplugged - 20th Annivesary Tour' will be in the area on March 17th at Sugarloaf Performing Arts Center and on March 19th at Daryl's House. Live was one of the biggest bands of the late 90's and early 00's. Unfortunately there is bad blood between Ed and the rest of the original line-up stemming from some (now settled) legal issues.

Fortunately Ed has moved on and is celebrating the release of their ground breaking album 'Throwing Copper'. The album itself was produced by Jerry Harrison of the Talking Heads and was released in April of '94. The album spawned hits like 'I Alone', 'Lightning Crashes' and 'All Over You'.

Tickets are on sale now for both shows.
