Expect A New Gorillaz Album Next Year

We heard all sorts of stuff from the Damon Albarn about how Gorillaz would be back in the studio last month.

Well, we just got confirmation from Jamie Hewlett (who does all the visual work for the band) when he talked to DIY Magazine that he's currently "shutting himself away" to work on the bands new material.

It's easy to forget how fantastically bizarre and different the bands albums and songs can be. I'm stoked that we could get something new as soon as next year.
