If you have an E-ZPass account make sure you don't fall victim to another scam. I guess an unauthorized communication from E-ZPass, the Thruway Authority, Port Authority or any other transportation agency associated with E-ZPass has been hit with an email scam that appears to be an attempt to collect unpaid tolls.

If you receive one of those emails, E-ZPass is saying that these emails are not from them and that the message should NOT be opened or responded to. The safest thing is to delete the email.

The E-ZPass Service Center does not send out email invoices for payment. If your bill is overdue, you will receive an invoice through the mail.

If you have any questions call E-ZPass at 800-333-8655.
