Famous for roles in numerous films and on Broadway, he's best known for portraying Ferris Bueller in the 80's cult classic. And he's been spending time in the Hudson Valley lately. 

The Poughkeepsie Journal reports "Look Away" starring Matthew Broderick, is a dark comedy co-starring Chloe Sevigny. Several Hudson Valley locations were used in the filming of the movie, including the Hyde Park Drive-In, the Rhinebeck Cemetery in addition to The Reem-Kayden Center at Bard.

The 20 day shoot concluded on July 6th.

According to The Journal, more than 70 movies filmed in the Hudson Valley in 2014 which led to more than 6,000 hotel room rentals and $4.5 million in spending.
