It's hard to get into the frame of mind of someone who has repeatedly been arrested for the same crimes. I mean, I would like to believe that if I was arrested for something and it had the profound impact on my life that arrests generally do--the social embarrassment, the emotional toll, the financial impact, and the effect it potentially has on one's employment--I would use it as incentive to, you know, not do that thing again.

But hey, not this lady! Not only has she been arrested for vehicular and alcohol-based crime, she's upping the ante this time around by adding what into the mix? That's right, her kids!

Obviously this person needs help, and of course I hope she gets that help for her own sake and for the sake of others, but for now let's just listen to the story and marvel at how incredibly dumb and irresponsible this behavior truly is.
