Found this t-shirt in a store in the Arlington District of Poughkeepsie. Caught my attention so I investigated a little bit more to see if it was just a statement or an actual organization.

This shirt is for real and so is the organization that makes them. According to their website The Sense of Self Project provides those who have served our country and sacrificed so much that returned home to a hard time a living wage job and income from making your tee, along with independence, pride, positive self esteem and an overall positive sense of them self!

While you may find these clothes in stores locally, you may also order a monthly subscription through their website. This gives anyone the opportunity to support them if they wish. While I prefer to do my shopping in stores, online shopping helps those who may not have as much access to transportation.
