If you own a Ford Escape or Transit Connect Van, this recall could impact you and your family. The Ford Motor company has issued a recall on the more than 200,000 vehicles due to instrument panels and seatbelt issues.

While there are no known reports of accidents or injuries, Automotive News is reporting that the problem with the instrument panel is that it won't light up with warnings, lights etc. when starting up, which is a violation of federal safety standards. The story goes on to report that the Escapes were built from May 2014 through February 2015 in Louisville, Ky. The Transit Connects were built from May through December 2014 in Valencia, Spain.
