There is a lot going on this weekend in the Hudson Valley but what about doing something that will go easy on your wallet?

This Saturday head on over to Bowdoin Park in Wappingers Falls for a fun filled day with the family...and guess what it's free! Dutchess County Parks is offering a free family hike that will take you and the kids on an adventure through the trails of Bowdion Park. Guides will educate visitors on the plants, animals, wilderness survival and the history of the park.

The walk is on moderate terrain and lasts approximately two hours so it should be fun for everyone. Those interested in attending should meet at the education center at 10am. The hike will be held rain or shine so be sure to dress appropriately and bring a bottle of water.

Enjoy!
