GAME OF THE WEEK: Arlington vs. Carmel Boys Basketball [VIDEO]

The Section 1 post season tournament kicked off with the undefeated Arlignton Admirals boys basketball team (18-0) taking on Carmel in the first round of the Sectional.  Arlington beat Carmel twice during the regular season and did't have too much trouble on their home court for the two team's third meeting.  

Even with Arlignton leading scorer, Brendan Sunday sitting on the bench with two early fouls.  Sunday picked up his second foul midway through the first quarter and sat for the rest of the period and the entire second quarter.  

Stepping up for the Admirals was Dan Schweitzer and Mike Ryan. Both finished with 14 points and the Arlington defense did the rest. Holding Carmel to just 14 points in the entire first half allowed the Admirals to cut and move and slice their way to a 49-35 first round win and extends its winning streak to 19 games.

Up next, number 1 seed Arlington will face number 8 seed Mamaroneck at Arlington on Wednesday at 5:30pm

The winner goes to the County Center in White Plains for the Semi-Finals on Friday February 27th.
