FREEDOM PLAINS -  The Arlington Admirals are now on a collision course with cross town rival Ketcham after a 5-1 win over New Rochelle in the Class AA sectional semi finals.  #3 seed Arlington will play #2 seed Mamaroneck on Tuesday; #1 seed Ketcham is playing #5 seed Fox Lane in the other side of the semi- finals.  Is a Ketcham vs Arlington Sectional championship imminent? If so, it would happen Saturday at the stadium where the Rockland Boulders play; Provident Bank Park.

But let's not get too far ahead of ourselves.  Arlington seemed as though it had the New Rochelle game in hand right from its first at bat.  Both Dan Schweitzer and Liam O'Leary got on base and Marc Barbieri knocked them in with a 2-run single.  In the second inning, the Admirals scored three more runs to take a 5-0 lead that stuck.

New Rochelle managed one run, but threatened with bases loaded in two separate innings.  Evin Kleinganz and the Arlington defense got out of both with 6-4-3 double plays to preserve the win and head to the Class AA Sectional semi finals.
