Aside from the idea of someone actually trying to show that hidden piece of the Tolkien story, it's kind of awesome watching someone make a freaking sword. Who the hell knew that to beat a sword into submission you'd start with 3 guys wailing away on a piece of metal with giant sledgehammers?

I sure didn't.

I've got to think that the amount of time it took to make that frigging thing and then watching someone bust it up had to hurt just a tiny bit.
