Get L.I.T. in the Hudson Valley Thanks to Applebee’s

It's baaack.

Back in October, one of the more popular restaurant chains, Applebee's wanted to show their appreciation to their loyal costumers. Applebee's offered Margarita's for $1 all month long, calling them Dollaritas. Very clever.

While margaritas for $1 sound like a delicious steal, some people argued that the margs weren't up to par. Adding fuel to the fire, a video went viral about how the "Dollaritas" were made with tap water and margarita mix and it left people feeling a bit salty.  Get it? Like you put on the rim? No? Okay, moving on...

In an email, Applebee's recently announced that they will be offering a new $1 deal. This time around with the classic Long Island Iced Tea. Also known as  L.I.T.

And don't think it's lost on Applebee's that folks are paying attention to the drinks contents. They tell Buzzfeed that the $1 L.I.T will contain the core 5 spirits, rum, tequila, gin, vodka and triple sec. More specifically they tell the site, "Exact spirit brands may vary, but they are all prepared with the same amount of 75-proof alcohol. There are 1.5 ounces of spirit included in each drink."

You can find $1 Long Island Iced Tea's around the Hudson Valley at Applebees in Poughkeepsie, Middletown, Kingston, Newburgh, Brewster and Central Valley.
