Gov. Investigating Airline Collusion To Keep Fares High!

People have been saying it for years! The airlines are working against us! Why is that when fuel prices go down fares don't, why is it that seats are getting smaller but so much more expensive. It's like they're working against us! Well...they just might be! According to the Associated Press the US Justice Department announced they are investing major airlines for possible collusion to keep fares high! The civil antitrust investigation seems to focus on if airlines are illegally signaling each other when they add new flights, routes and extra seats. In a letter received this week by major U.S. carriers the US Justice Department demands copies of all communications between the airlines. It's not known yet if there was illegal activity amongst the carriers and if so what the repercussions would be. For now consumers will just have to continue to pay the price, even if it is could be criminally overpriced!
