Guys, what lengths would you go to for a great beard? Would you undergo surgery to make it happen?

For years, guys have been undergoing painful hair replacement procedures in attempt to get "flowing locks" but more and more, guys are willing to take part in similar procedures to ensure thicker and what might be described as 'more masculine' facial hair.

According to the NY Times, the procedure which can include sideburns to chin starts at approximately $7000, less if you just want to "fill in the patchy spots" more if you need a second procedure.

Is it worth it? The men interviewed by the NY Times for their piece, said yes, that it basically helped them not only feel "manly" but helped them just grow a better beard.
