Green Day needs a break

Billie Joe from Green Day has announced the band will be taking a break in 2014. They have a few Australian dates to fufill and will be recharging their batteries after that. 2013 was a solid year for the band, playing countless sold out shows all over the world. Billie Joe spent some time in rehab in 2012 after hurling insults and profanities from the stage at the iHeartRadio music fest in September of that year.  Most recently Billie Joe teamed up with Norah Jones for an Everly Brothers tribute album.
