We all know that there is a new "Harry Potter" spin-off on the way, happening in 1926 and New York. It's a complete departure from the European based previous movies, and Warner Brothers Movies is celebrating in a pretty awesome way.

According to Variety, IMAX and Warner Brothers are teaming up to put the entire Harry Potter 8 movie run back in IMAX theaters, as a way to get you ready for the new film. As a Harry Potter fan boy, owning all the books AND movies, my quick response was "SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!"

IMAX is an experience. It's not cheap and it might make real life feel a little duller after you've spent an entire movie in a theater.

If you're interested, you've either got to go north or south. There's no IMAX theater in the Mid-Hudson Valley. The two best places to hit up IMAX near here is:

It's a trip, but I think it might be totally worth the time, effort and money. You don't get many chances to see movies as great as the Harry Potter line in an amazing theater.
