I'm a total animal lover, and especially thankful for those that work with our furry friends.  I have an especially, difficult cat...she had a rough start to life and has had a bit, ok a HUGE attitude ever since.  I'm so thankful for her veterinarian for dealing with her terrible behavior every time we visit the office. I know my dear cat has been responsible for some bloodshed due to her absolute hatred for visiting the vet, and complete freak-outs in the exam room, so I feel the need to spread the word about a blood drive event her vet's office is hosting!

The Hudson Highlands Veterinary Medical Group, located at 222 Lime Kiln Road in Hopewell Junction is hosting a (human) blood drive on Monday February 4th from 2:30pm-7pm.

The blood bus will be parked right outside their office for the blood drive, and the organizers are happy to coordinate appointments around your schedule - just call 845.221.2244 or email hudsonhighlandsvet@gmail.com to schedule an appointment.

The donation goal is 26 pints, and there's even a raffle prize you could end up winning!

Check them out on facebook for more information.
