Tuesday is another hot day for the Hudson Valley.  Air quality levels will be bad again, as the humidity stays with us. Another heat advisory has been issued starting at noon. We get some relief on Wednesday and better weather towards the end of the week.

Tuesday and Wednesday are the wet days of the area.  Sort of like the weather we saw last week, not a steady soaking rain, but scattered showers and thunderstorms with some strong storms producing heavy rain.  A weak cold front move through the Hudson Valley.  That will lower our humidity a bit.

Here’s the latest forecast from the National Weather Service:

Tuesday:  Increasing clouds and hot.  High near 90.  Heat index values as high as 98.  Showers and Thunderstorms likely after 5pm.  Heat advisory from 12pm to 9pm.

Tuesday night:  Mostly cloudy, low around 71. Showers and thunderstorms expected.

Wednesday:  Partly sunny, high near 86.  Showers and thunderstorms in the early afternoon.

Thursday:  Partly sunny, high near 86, with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorm throughout the day.
