An Ulster County house cleaner was arrested for stealing thousands of dollars from a home. 

Lorrie Lent, 48, of Marlboro was arrested and charged with Grand Larceny in the Third Degree (felony) and Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree (misdemeanor).

On July 13th, New York State Police concluded the investigation into theft of over $3,000 in cash from a Plattekill residence. Lorrie Lent, a house cleaner for victim, was caught on a video recording taking cash from an envelope in the victim’s bedroom. Lent then damaged the surveillance equipment which captured her actions during the theft.

Lent was arraigned in the Town of Marlborough Court and subsequently released on her own recognizance. Lent is set to return to Plattekill Town Court on 07/15/16 at 5:00pm.
