People living into the triple-digits is becoming more and more common... but twins BOTH making it past 100?! Find how they did it.

Ruby Harris and Ruth Cox are a pair of twins who grew up in Kansas. They graduated from University of Kansas together as nurses ("Rock Chalk, Jayhawk!"), and then went on to live wonderful long lives.

Here's how old that is: the following items were invented after they were born...

  • Tanks
  • Crossword Puzzles
  • Zippers
  • Bras
  • Stainless steel
  • Toasters
  • Band-Aids
  • Traffic signals
  • Aerosol cans
  • Bubble gum
  • Scotch tape
  • Canned beer
  • Colt revolvers
  • Frozen food

And, most insanely: penicillin was discovered when they were sixteen years old.

So, how do they do it?

"Behave yourselves, stay away from the beer joints and don't smoke," she said. "And be good kids."

Look, being 102 is cool and all, but if you spend the entire time being "a good kid," does it really count as living?
