One thing I love about craft beer and specifically the brewers is that there are no boundaries. Brewers rarely look at a potential flavor combination or style mashup and think "Well, we could never do that." Instead they think "How can we make that happen?"

That's definitely the case in this scenario, when Hudson Valley brewing icon Tommy Keegan decided to give cereal beer a try. He's done it in the past (he blended Cinnamon Toast Crunch with his Hurricane Kitty ale), but this is a rare chance to get your hands on them.

I just tried them for the first time and it's crazy. There's no reason that Trix cereal should add so much to an IPA (Keegan Ales' Bine Climber), but does it ever. And the Cocoa Puffs add a nice, subtle chocolate flavor to the roasty Mother's Milk stout.

These are worth seeking out, as evidenced by the fact that the lines to try them at the TAP NY festival were something like a 45 minute wait. Listen below to find out about how you can get your hands on them.
