Hudson Valley Bakery Wins Sweetest Bakery in NY Contest
The Hudson Valley just got a little sweeter.
As we all know New York is home to some incredible bakeries. We're known for our delicious black and white cookies, crumb cakes and cheese danishes. But now it's official that one Hudson Valley business is the sweetest in New York.
Dawn Foods ran their 2nd annual Sweetest Bakery in America contest. Winners would receive a full spread in Bake Magazine and an announcement in BakeNews, advertising money, a trip to Dawn Innovation Studio for a private one-day session for your bakery and much more.
While unfortunately they didn't win the whole competition, Desing's Bakery in Kingston took home the prize for Sweetest Bakery in New York. The crew at Desing's will receive $500 for advertising, entry to a trip to the Dawn Innovation Studios and an award Award plaque recognizing their win.
Desing's took to their Facebook page to thank all of their customers and supporters for voting.

Desing's has quite the loyal fan-base and that may be because they treat their customers with the utmost respect. Earlier this month they asked if we could help them spread the word about a fundraiser they were holding for loyal customer Al Mitchell. They sold cupcakes with all the proceeds going to Al's family to assist them with medical bills.
