Hudson Valley Brewery has officially opened their new tasting room in the City of Beacon. You can now stop in Fridays 5-10 p.m. or Saturday and Sunday 2-10 p.m. to try any of the five beers currently on tap.

The Poughkeepsie Journal reports the property was purchased in August of 2015 by founder and president Anthony Gargiulo. After months of work on their $3 million renovation, it's time to enjoy the fruits of their labor.

While the tasting room has just opened, they've been brewing beer now for several months. More than 60 percent of its business is in New York City, and they have around 40 accounts in the Hudson Valley.

While there is currently no seating in the 2,000 square foot room, the plan is to eventually add a full dining and entertainment area. Owner John-Anthony Gargiulo say's it's still a work in progress, we're excited to see what they come up with.
