A local craft brewery has been charged $2,000 by the Liquor Authority after a patron was stabbed on their premises.

The Journal News reports that a bar fight turned even more violent back in May when a patron, Robert Petrocine from Peekskill, allegedly stabbed a man in the arm. Petrocine has been charged with assault and weapon possession, and now the brew pub has also been fined in the incident.

The NY Liquor Authority claims that the Bull & Barrel Brew Pub on Route 22 in Brewster allowed their premises to be disorderly and failed to properly intervene in the fight that ended in a stabbing.

The bar's co-owner, Wendy Wulkan appealed to the liquor board, saying that she has a good record of running other safe bars and restaurants in the past. In light of her good record, the board set the fine at $2,000.
