A Hudson Valley City has been ranked among the best sports cities from a fan's perspective.

Let's face it, we love sports. We love the thrill and drama of the games, the nail-biting situations, the buzzer beaters, and the excitement.

Roughly three-quarters of the population are sports fans. Many people like to watch the game from the comfort of their own home, some watch on their phones. But, serious fans want live action.

Wallethub decided to search for the best sports cities from a fan's perspective. They compared 419 cities across more than 50 key metrics related to the five largest sports in the U.S.: Football, Basketball, Baseball, Hockey, and Soccer.

Of course, when it came to the best big sport cities, New York City, Los Angeles, and Boston made up the top three. However, in terms of the best small sports cities, a city from right here in the Hudson Valley made the list.

West Point was ranked the third best small sports city according to this report. It's no surprise, if you've ever been to a game at West Point, you know. It's always a great time.

I remember being a kid and going to Michie Stadium for football games. Now that I think about it, the first time I ever had venison was while tailgating in West Point. #randomfact

If you've never been to a game at West Point, and you love sports, go check out a game, you won't be disappointed.
