U.S. News and World Report has just released their annual ranking of the best colleges in the country, and for the second year in a row, a Hudson Valley college made a top ten list.

Marist College in Poughkeepsie landed the number nine spot for Regional Colleges in the northern United States. The college held the same spot in the list that was put together last year. There are a whole lot of factors that go into the ranking, like academic performance, selectivity, and class size. The number one spot is held by Providence College in Rhode Island.

Lots of other colleges from New York also made the list, and the Hudson Valley is represented elsewhere in the top 100 with SUNY New Paltz at number 28.

Now I'll take a moment and see if my old college is represented on this list... (scrolling, scrolling, scrolling, remembers I don't have a real job and instead work in radio, scrolling, scrolling, gets bored, eats donuts, falls asleep).
