Hudson Valley Fall Bucket List: Pumpkin Spice Everything

If you want to have the most epic fall, follow the Hudson Valley Fall Bucket List.

I'm about to shock the world when I say this, but I don't like coffee. However, I do love a pumpkin spice latte (PSL, if you may).

If you don't know what a PSL is well, I am here to bring you to your senses. t is a latte made with a mix of traditional fall spice flavors (cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove), steamed milk, and espresso, topped with whipped cream and pumpkin pie spice. Since 2015, it has also contained a small amount of pumpkin puree, according to Wikipedia. Topped with whipped cream, of course.

And thanks to Starbucks, the PSL is already back in the Hudson Valley. But they're not the only ones who are doing it, the region has tons of amazing coffee shops and cafes to get your pumpkin spice fix:

Bank Square Coffeehouse

Bank Square is an awesome spot in Beacon, actually one of the first places I went to in the town. It's an eclectic space with mismatched furniture and great drinks. They're definitely more of a coffee shop than a cafe, so go for a PSL, not a meal.

The Crafted Kup

The Crafted Kup not only has a location near Vassar College but also in the Poughkeepsie Galleria. This laid-back coffee shop is a perfect spot for your morning PSL, to meet with friends, or even take a client for a cup of coffee. It's casual without being too casual. They also make killer iced tea.

Bread Alone Bakery

Bread Alone Bakery also has multiple locations, including Woodstock, Lake Katrine, and Boiceville. I've only been to the Woodstock and Rhinebeck locations but I love them both. While you're sipping on a freshly made PSL I recommend getting a slice of the sourdough rye with butter. You can thank me later.
