After closing unexpectedly with no warning to employees or customers, Golden Corral in the Town of Wallkill is expected to re-open next month. The Times Herald-Record reports the 360 Route 211 location will be under new management when business resumes.

New owners BME Group stated Friday that they were nearing completion of some renovations to the establishment and were looking forward to serving the community soon.

The Times Herald-Record reports the previous owners, who had operated the establishment for a year and a half, didn't even give workers their last paycheck. BME Group has given each of the workers their money and has offered them all a chance to apply for their old jobs.

Golden Corral first opened in North Carolina in 1973 and features buffet-style dining. They have over 200 locations located in 41 states. Will you be heading back to Golden Corral in Orange County?
