Late Wednesday morning a Hudson Valley high school was evacuated after a bomb scare. 

Monroe-Woodbury High School was evacuated after the discovery of a note in a bathroom. the evacuation happened around 11:30 a.m.

Reported by The Record Online, the school district's website had this posted:

At approximately 11:15 am on April 29, 2015, 2015, several high school students reported that someone had written ‘There is a bomb in here’ on a high school bathroom urinal. After confirming the message, in order to exercise extreme caution, lockdown procedures were immediately enacted. Local law enforcement agencies were notified and responded immediately to the high school at which point the building was evacuated

 

Students returned to the school for dismissal at 2:00 p.m.
