If you want to know what Christmas looks like it's not that far from the Hudson Valley. It's not every day you have a local home that's in the prestigious Guinness Book of World Records. Check out this festive Hudson Valley home. Have you seen it before?

Who would have thought that we had some real champions in our midst?  The Gay Family from LaGrangeville entered the Guinness Book of World Records in 2013 for having the most Christmas lights on their property.

According to the Guiness Book of World Records, The Gay family has been heavily decorating for Christmas for well over 20 years and it finally paid off when they broke a world record in 2012 with roughly 601,736 lights on display.

The Gay's lost the next year to a family in Australia but then quickly regained the title and brought it back to the states.

The current record is over a million lights on  display. I'm sure Central Hudson Gas & Electric are happier than their neighbors.

Check out this crazy display in the Hudson Valley.
