With 601,736 holiday lights it shouldn't be too hard to find your way to the Hudson Valley home that now holds the record for the largest residential holiday display in the world.

The Poughkeepsie Journal reports that the Gay family in Lagrangeville have regained their title after a visit on Friday from the Guinness Book of World Records. The most recent record was held by a family in Australia with 502,156 lights. That family took the crown from the Gays back in 2012, the last time they held the record.

Here is a sample of the incredible lighting display from last year:

According to the Associated Press, Timothy Gay and his family were approached by Ritz Crackers a few months ago, asking if they were interested in going after the record again. To help reach their goal, Ritz donated more than 180,000 lights to bring them over the top.

The display isn't only breathtaking to view, but it raises money for charity as well.  The Union Vale fire department collects donations from onlookers. So far, in the past three years they have raised $80,000.

To view the new world-record winning holiday display for 2014 you can visit at 8 Patrick Drive in LaGrangeville throughout the holiday season. Directions and other information about the light display is available on the family's official website.
