A Hudson Valley man already jailed for allegedly making terroristic threats is accused of making more terroristic threats from jail.

On May 2, the Ulster County Sheriff's Office received a report that an inmate at the Ulster County Jail tried to send a letter threatening specific acts of violence to a business in the Town of Ulster.

The letter was intercepted by corrections personnel prior to being mailed.

Police allege Kristofer J. Surdis, 42, of Glenford wrote the letter. Tuesday, Surdis was charged with making a terroristic threat, a felony.

The investigation is continuing and more charges are possible.
